After Patrick ends up sleeping for a week at Jellyfish Fields, he is unable to stay asleep when he goes to bed that night, so he resorts to many methods to get himself to fall asleep. After many unsuccessful attempts, SpongeBob tells Patrick he needs the Sandman to help him fall asleep, which Patrick ends up hallucinating.
