After hearing SpongeBob’s advice on how a simple parade appearance could give the Krusty Krab free advertising, Mr. Krabs and his crew enter a float into Bikini Bottom’s own parade. There, Perch Perkins and the Ice Cream King commentate on its various occurrences, most of which lead to utter chaos.
Loading the player... Bubble Bass refuses to pay his bill at the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs sends SpongeBob and Squidward to his house, where they engage in a fantasy battle against Bubble Bass.
Loading the player... Squidward hosts a secret “We Hate SpongeBob” club at his house, where he, Mrs. Puff, Bubble Bass, Plankton, and the mailman each tell about a horrible, but highly exaggerated, encounter they had with SpongeBob.
Mr. Krabs wants to save five cents, so he has SpongeBob fired from his job. SpongeBob falls into a depression, and despite encouragement from Patrick, finds that he does not enjoy being unemployed. He takes his talents to multiple other restaurants, making Krabby Patty-style food that turns out to be delicious.
One Krabs Trash: When Mr. Krabs has a garage sale and tries to peddle off everyone’s trash as priceless heirlooms, he ends up selling to Spongebob a novelty soda drink hat, which to Mr. Krabs’s surprise turns out to be the most sought after piece of merchandise in Bikini Bottom. When Mr. Krabs is too cheap to buy more garbage bags and creates a mess, he makes SpongeBob and Squidward drive a garbage truck and clean up trash around Bikini Bottom. However, Patrick is insistent on keeping his garbage, and the fight causes trash to splatter all over the Krusty Krab.
A community bulletin board is posted inside the Krusty Krab. While it attracts positive comments at first, an anonymous user begins bullying and insulting people. SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs hold a stakeout to find out who it is.
